We used the launch of Jay-Z’s autobiography “Decoded” to bring Bing to the forefront of pop-culture and gave millions of Jay-Z fans a reason to use Bing Search and Maps.
We started by putting every single page of Jay-Z’s autobiography into media spaces around the world; all 350 pages were put in locations relevant to each individual page's content. Fans around the world could actually walk Jay-Z's path, experiencing his story right where it happened. Over the course of the month-long campaign, fans assembled the book digitally at bing.com/jay-z before it hit stores.

WATER
The Ultimate Deluxe Platinum Celebrity Tap Pack Limited Edition was a collection of real tap water that we bottled and filled in the kitchen sinks of celebrities. By putting an egregious value on a celebrity's tap water, we leveraged our own privilege to address the world’s clean water shortage. The campaign garnered national attention from the New York Times and tabloid press for its outlandish tone.

Usain Bolt is the UK’s superhero of fast internet and mobile service. And just like a real life Hollywood celebrity superhero, he gets a John Williams inspired orchestral theme song, and the chance to save the planet from an astroid whilst hanging on wires in front of a green screen. Special thanks to comedian London Hughes for playing Momma Bolt, and director Jake Szymanski.
